Hamilton County Secondary Roads- Mechanic 1

Hamilton County Secondary Roads Department is seeking qualified applicants for a fulltime position of Mechanic I. Applicants should possess a minimum of a high school degree or GED. Additional education / experience in a relevant mechanical trade is preferred. Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License in the State of Iowa, including tractor-trailer, air brakes, and tanker endorsements is preferred. A CDL is not required to apply but the applicant must obtain a Class A CDL with air brakes learners permit before employment begins. The County will help with acquiring a full CDL if needed.
