State Legislators Slated to Participate in Webster City Political Forums 

Senator Dennis Guth and State Representative Shannon Latham will be in Webster City on the 4th Saturday of the Month during the Iowa Legislative Session. Jim Kersten, VP of External Affairs and Government Relations for Iowa Central Community College, will moderate the forums, offering local residents the opportunity to speak to their state legislators.  

Iowa Central Community College, in partnership with Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Webster City, KQWC News Radio, and the Daily Freeman-Journal will be hosting a political forum starting on January 27th, 2024 at 11AM- Noon at Iowa Central Community College, 1725 Beach in the Chelesvig Center - Room 106. The political forums will continue through the Iowa Legislative session on the 4th Saturday of each month, February 24th, March 23rd, and last forum being held on April 27th, 2024.  

The community and public are welcome to attend. Registration is encouraged but not required. Online registration is available at visitwebstercityiowa.com or by calling the chamber office at 515-832-2564. The chamber is currently seeking volunteers to assist the moderator the day of the event.
