A not-for-profit financial cooperative whose members are the owners. Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in: Boone, Calhoun, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Story, Webster, and Wright counties. We operate from three branches in Webster City (HQ), Fort Dodge, and Lehigh offering all the same products as other financial institutions: Checking, Savings, Auto/Home/Personal Loans.

Peoples Credit Union serves 11 counties: Boone, Calhoun, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Story, Webster, and Wright.

History

Founded in 1962 We first established roots in Webster City operating out of the home of Don and Colleen Follett and serving only the employees of Franklin Manufacturing Company and Arrow Acme Corporation. 23 years later, we joined forces with Hamilton County Public Employee Credit Union and changed the name to Peoples Credit Union. Today we are proud to say we are still locally owned with 3 branch locations, serving 11 counties and nearly 8,000-member owners.
