Reisner Substation Ribbon Cutting
The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the Reisner Substation, a major infrastructure investment for Webster City.The ceremony will take place on Friday, March 6th at Noon at 2890 Millards Lane in the southeast industrial park.
The Reisner Substation is a new, large-scale electrical facility designed to replace the aging Passwaters substation and support increased power demand throughout the community. Located in the southeast industrial park, the substation will serve both industrial and residential needs while strengthening the city’s electrical grid.This critical infrastructure project connects with local 69kV transmission lines and is part of a broader effort that includes underground electrical improvements. Construction began in 2025, with equipment testing scheduled to conclude in early 2026. The substation has been built with future growth in mind and is designed to be expandable to accommodate long-term population growth and industrial expansion.
