Building Strong Partnerships: Supporting Webster City Schools Together

At the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, we believe that community thrives when we work together—and one of our greatest partnerships is with the Webster City School District. Each year during Market Nights, we come together to collect backpacks and school supplies to ensure that every student in our district has the tools they need to succeed.

This effort is about more than just supplies—it’s about partnership, encouragement, and showing our students that their community is behind them. We are so grateful to Ted from the Bus Barn for bringing down the school bus to serve as a collection point, creating a fun and visible reminder of the purpose behind our efforts. Our thanks also extend to the school administration, who joined us downtown, and to the student athletes who took time to play with younger children—showing them firsthand the power of being a role model.

The energy and excitement of Market Nights created the perfect backdrop for this initiative, as neighbors came together to give generously. From backpacks to pencils, notebooks to markers, every single donation makes a difference.

This annual tradition reflects the Chamber’s commitment to building strong partnerships with the Webster City School District while serving the needs of our community. By standing side by side, we show our students that they are supported, valued, and capable of achieving great things.
