Get Ready to Roll: Webster City Chamber & Hamilton County Fair Launch 2025 Parade Float Contest
The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hamilton County Fair are teaming up to bring new energy and friendly competition to the beloved Hamilton County Fair Parade—with the launch of the 2025 Parade Float Contest!
For the first time, floats will be judged by local celebrity judges in three spirited categories:
- Best Use of Theme
- Most Creative Float
- Judge’s Choice
Registration is completely FREE and is now live at hamcoexpo.com. Winners will be announced via media release the following day and awarded Hamilton County Fair ribbons—plus bragging rights for an entire year.
“The Hamilton County Fair Parade is a high-energy kickoff to an incredible week of events,” said Jamie Griffith, Hamilton County Fair Manager and Chamber Board President. “We’re excited to see even more creativity from our community this year and to reward the effort people put into making the parade such a great experience for all ages.”
The 2025 Hamilton County Fair Parade will take place on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:00 PM, beginning near Webster City Middle School through downtown Webster City and making its way to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds (1200 Bluff Street). The parade officially kicks off five nights and six days of Together We Fair—featuring:
- Carnival rides
- Livestock shows
- Speedway races and animal races
- 4-H exhibitions
- Live entertainment and more
With nearly 100 entries each year, the parade showcases local businesses, service groups, ag organizations, classic cars, tractors, 4-H clubs, and more. Whether you're entering a float or cheering from the sidelines, you won’t want to miss this community tradition.
