Classic Car Night Brought Shine, Style, and Community Spirit to Downtown Webster City!

🚗✨Downtown Webster City was packed with personality and horsepower ON Thursday, June 12th as Classic Car Night rolled into town, lining Second Street with chrome, candy paint, and conversation. From vintage cruisers to muscle car favorites, the turnout was fantastic—and so was the crowd!

Nearly 40 classic cars rolled into Webster City, showcasing the full spectrum of automotive history. These special summer nights are among the most well-attended events of the season, drawing car enthusiasts and visitors from across the region.

Joe Bosch of Karl Webster City Sales and Mark Ferguson, Karl Webster City Brand Ambassador, made the rounds judging each vehicle based on a variety of criteria to determine the winner of the 'Karl’s Choice' award. Meanwhile, community members were invited to cast their vote for 'Community Choice' at the American Legion tent. Local veterans added to the evening by grilling up burgers and brats for attendees, with proceeds benefiting programs that support fellow veterans.

🏆 Congratulations to our June Classic Car Night winners:

  • 🍉 "One in a Melon" Award (Presented by Envision Stanhope): Don Nokes with his gorgeous 1951 Ford Convertible featuring a V-8 engine

  • 🏅 Community Choice Award: Tom Bockman and his bold 1969 Road Runner

  • 🛠️ Karl Classic Awards: Tony Nessa with his pristine 1967 Chevy Chevelle

Classic Car Nights have a new schedule—now held on the second Thursday of each month in June, July, and August. The remaining 2025 events are set for Thursday, July 10th, and Thursday, August 14th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Classic car owners from across the region are invited to participate. Participants should enter at the corner of Second and Prospect Streets between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. Event staff will greet each driver, provide registration materials, and assist with vehicle placement.

We are incredibly grateful to Karl Webster City for sponsoring Classic Car Nights this summer. Their continued partnership helps bring this event to life and fuels our shared passion for community connection and classic cars. A huge thank you to American Sanitation, our 2025 Presenting Sponsor for Webster City Market Nights, for making each week possible. And a big shoutout to Mertz Engineering, who provided the beautiful custom trophies that made our winners feel extra special!

📸 Photos from the evening captured smiles, engines, and the unbeatable feeling of a community gathered downtown to celebrate great cars and great people. Be sure to check them out and tag your friends!
