JunqueFest Returns to Downtown Webster City on May 24
WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – JunqueFest is back in downtown Webster City on Saturday, May 24 , offering a full day of live music, food, and curated shopping from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spanning three city blocks, the annual Memorial Day weekend festival has become a regional favorite, celebrating small-town charm with big-time fun.
The event will feature a diverse mix of vintage, handmade, and artisan vendors, alongside a Food Truck Festival spotlighting local and regional eats lining Des Moines Street and Willson Avenue.
Live music will fill the air at two stages throughout the day. At the Availa Bank Plaza stage, Kris Karr kicks things off with acoustic originals and classics from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Jared Benson with Claudia Rihner from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Benson, a rising country-rock artist, recently released his debut album Save My Soul and has opened for Bailey Zimmerman, Ashley Cooke, and Josh Turner.
Additional performances can be heard on the Willson Avenue & Second Street stage, where Rod Johnson will perform from 1 to 4 p.m. outside Country Twist Boutique.
Festivities begin the evening before on Friday, May 23, with a pre-party at Wildcat Distilling Co., featuring live music by Neil Anders from 7-10PM. An after-party performance by Jake Beaty will follow from 7-10PM.
