This citywide shopping experience is the perfect way to kick off JunqueFest 2025 — a downtown festival filled with vendors, live music, food trucks, and now, a meaningful new feature: the Veterans Tribute Tour.
Veterans Tribute Tour: A Walkable Memorial
Also debuting this year, the Veterans Tribute Tour offers a heartfelt way to honor local service members. Photos and military service details of veterans will be displayed in the windows of downtown businesses along the JunqueFest route, creating a walkable memorial throughout the heart of the city.
There is no cost to participate, and families are encouraged to submit a photo and brief tribute for a loved one who served. Submissions may be emailed to Trisha Rupiper at [email protected] or dropped off at the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, 628 Second Street. Photos can also be scanned at the Chamber office.
“The Citywide Garage Sales bring our neighborhoods together, while the Veterans Tribute adds a deeply meaningful touch to the downtown celebration,” said Robin Streigle, Events and Office Support for the Chamber. “It’s a weekend that truly reflects community pride.”
