The Community-Wide Garage Sales are returning Memorial Day Weekend, inviting residents across Webster City to host their own garage sales and take part in a community tradition that brings neighbors and visitors together in search of hidden treasures, great deals, and unexpected finds.

Registration is completely free, and anyone in Webster City is welcome to participate. Once registered, all garage sales will be compiled into a community list and published on the Daily Freeman Journal website, making it easy for shoppers to map out their route and explore sales throughout town.

This event turns Webster City into a treasure map of possibilities—drive through neighborhoods, meet friendly faces, and discover everything from antiques and household items to vintage gems and one-of-a-kind bargains.

This year, the garage sales are even more exciting thanks to their connection with one of Webster City’s biggest downtown events—JunqueFest & the Food Truck Festival, happening Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in downtown Webster City.

Downtown will come alive with vintage vendors, antiques, handmade goods, boutique shopping, and an expanded Food Truck Festival featuring 18 food trucks serving everything from savory meals to sweet treats.

With garage sales happening across the community and JunqueFest bringing energy downtown, Memorial Day Weekend becomes a full experience of shopping, exploring, and enjoying everything Webster City has to offer.
