Medical Lab Tech $10K SB - FT, Day Shift

The successful candidate will be offered the choice of a $10,000 Sign On Bonus OR up to $10,000 in Student Loan Repayment Assistance.

Performs appropriate specimen collection, processing, and clinical tests according to procedure manuals.  These jobs are performed during a given period of time, in emergency situations and on patients of all ages.  Clerical and computer work is required.

Primarily works Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.  Scheduled 36 hours per week, with every 6th weekend.

1. Associate of Arts Degree
2. Successful completion of a formal Medical Laboratory Technician Program                   
3. ASCP or NCA accredited or the registration form for the ASCP boards preferred, not required.
4. Must have current Iowa Driver’s License and must maintain a driving history acceptable to the Hospital’s insurance carrier.
5. Maintenance of current basic life support
6. Ability to use a keyboard
7. Maintain Mandatory Reporting Certification
