Dutch Oven Gathering Potluck

Location: Outback of the Conservation Office, 2490 Briggs Woods Trail, Webster City, IA

We are having a Dutch Oven Gathering Potluck for anyone who enjoys cooking outdoors with a Dutch Oven. Dutch oven cooking was a life skill the pioneers experienced to survive and today people enjoy it is as a hobby. Maybe you have always wanted to learn how to cook with a Dutch oven? Join our Hamilton County Naturalist at the Outback Area behind our Conservation Office as we will cook over campfires or use charcoal to make a potluck meal. We will enjoy the meal outside in lawn chairs or at tables in the Conservation Office display room. Remember to bring your lawn chair, Dutch oven, cookware, food to cook, and recipes to share with others. We will have some recipes to share and can make copies of your recipes.
