Book Release Celebration with Dr. Celina Peerman, Webster City Graduate

The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a very special Chamber After Hours event and book release celebration honoring Dr. Celina Peerman, an internationally respected organizational psychologist, speaker, and proud Webster City graduate.

This engaging evening will take place at Mornin’ Glory Coffee, on Monday, June 9^th from 5-7PM,  now under the ownership. John Marvel, former journalist, documentarian, and sports broadcast executive, will warmly welcome attendees and showcase some exciting new offerings from the shop’s updated menu.

Dr. Peerman returns to the home of her high school alma mater to celebrate the release of her newest book, 49 Chameleons, a compelling exploration of adaptability and leadership in times of change. Attendees will enjoy book giveaways, door prizes, and the exclusive opportunity to pre-order her full three-book leadership and development series, with shipment later this year.

Dr. Peerman brings nearly 30 years of experience across industries and continents, offering strategic insight to improve team performance, enhance workplace culture, and lead lasting change. A two-time TEDx presenter, Certified Speaking Professional, and sought-after facilitator, she presents at over 250 events each year, helping individuals and organizations make a more positive impact.

Based in Waverly, Iowa, Dr. Peerman lives with her husband of 32 years, David. She is the proud mom of two daughters, now embracing her roles as mother-in-law and soon-to-be grandma. When not traveling or speaking, she enjoys outdoor adventures, sci-fi, the arts, and time with family.

Special guest emcee for the evening is Travis Toliver, Senior Vice President of Downtown Development for the Ames Regional Economic Alliance, who brings unmatched energy and perspective to the program.
