Farm To Table with Darcy Maulsby

Kendall Young Library is hosting Author/Storyteller, Darcy Maulsby as she walks us through her book Iowa Agriculture: A History of Farming, Family and Food.  Her book Iowa Agriculture: A History of Farming, Family and Food is a wonderful evolution of Iowa’s agrarian history, delightfully stretching into its prehistorical roots, then quickly bringing us into the 20th and 21st centuries. Darcy presentation to Kendall Young Library will kick off events on Saturday July 18^th at 5:30pm. This portion of the evening is free and open to all.

 

Following the program, Friends of Kendall Young Library is hosting a farm to table style dinner on the grounds of the library.  This fundraising dinner will be catered by Grid Iron with a special dessert by Mornin’ Glory. Patrons can purchase tickets online or at Kendall Young Library prior to the event.
