Golden Antler Shed Hunt

Meet us at the Wilcox Nature Trail Head just down the hill and past the cabins at Little Wall Lake Park. Join our Hamilton County Naturalist for a short talk on deer antlers and shed hunting in Iowa. We will have elk antler sheds to look at and compare the size to whitetail deer antlers. We will hunt for deer antler sheds along the Wilcox Nature Trail as we hike towards the south end of the lake. We will be searching for deer skulls, regular deer antlers, a bronze, a silver and a golden deer antler on our hike. The finder of the golden antler gets to keep the golden antler and gets a gift certificate. This program is limited to the first 60 people who register online.
