The community is invited to a ribbon cutting and open house to honor the radio station's legacy of service and connection in Webster City ad beyond. The event will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 10:45 AM. Since its founding in 1950, KQWC has been a trusted voice for the community, delivering local news coverage, classic hits, and live sports play-by-play for area high school athletes. Over the past 75 years, the station has become a cornerstone of Webster City life, bringing listeners together through shared stories, music, and sports moments.The open house will offer attendees an opportunity to tour the station, meet the voices behind the microphones, and learn more about KQWC’s history and ongoing commitment to connecting the community.
