Ribbon Cutting: MercyOne Iowa Heart Center Clinic at Van Diest Medical Center
Van Diest Medical Center (VDMC) is excited to announce the ribbon cutting and open house for MercyOne Iowa Heart Center at its newly established cardiology clinic located inside the hospital, by the Specialty Clinic. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 19th, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 8:30 AM.
The new Iowa Heart Center clinic at Van Diest Medical Center marks an important step in expanding access to specialized cardiology services for Hamilton County and the surrounding communities.
During the event, attendees will hear from Lisa Ridge, CEO of Van Diest Medical Center, and Dr. Denise Sorrentino, Cardiologist with Iowa Heart Center, who will discuss the critical role the new clinic plays in providing cardiovascular care in the region.
February is National Heart Month, a time to emphasize the importance of heart health and encourage proactive measures for preventing heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States.
